How to Download & Print
Hello,
Thank you so much for your order! Here’s a little guide to help you download and print your digital sewing pattern smoothly - whether you’re printing at home or sending it to a copy shop.
💌 Downloading Your Files
-
Click the download link in your confirmation email or on the order page.
The files are standard PDFs — completely safe to open.
If your browser flashes a security message, don’t worry — this is a common automatic warning for new downloads. Simply choose “Keep File” or “Download Anyway.” -
Save the files to your device before opening.
On a computer: right-click and select Save As.
On iPhone/iPad: tap the share icon → Save to Files. -
Open with a proper PDF reader (not in your browser).
I recommend Adobe Acrobat Reader (free) or Foxit Reader.
Browser previews can sometimes distort scale or skip pages.
🖨️ Printing at Home
- Use the A4 (or US Letter) file for home printing.
- In your print settings, choose:
– Scale: 100% or Actual Size (do not “fit to page”).
– Print just the test square page first and measure to check accuracy. - Trim the margins and tape the pages together following the layout guide.
🧵 Printing at a Copy Shop
- Use the A0 file — it’s designed for professional printers.
- A local print shop can print it full-size for just a few pounds, and there’s no sticking required!
- You can also email the A0 file to an online copy shop — they’ll post it to you rolled or folded.
✨ Troubleshooting
-
“This file may be unsafe” or “malware” warning
This is a false alarm that sometimes happens with large PDFs. The files are completely safe. Select “Keep File” or “Download Anyway.” -
The file won’t open
Save the file first, then open it with Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you’re on a phone or tablet, download the free Adobe Reader app. -
The pattern prints at the wrong size
Check your print scale is set to 100% / Actual Size and measure the test square before printing the full pattern.
I hope this helps make your sewing time calm and easy.
If you get stuck, just send me a note over here - I’m always happy to help.
With love,
Fleur
